Job Description

The CompanyNigel Wright is delighted to be supporting a growing North-East based SAAS provider in their search for a Communications and Content Manager. This modern company offers hybrid working and a chance to shape their marketing communications.The RoleThe Communications and Content Manager will have oversight of the content delivery over several UK based and international companies within the parent group. Key responsibilities include;

  • Create engaging content for a variety of platform, such as websites, news articles, blogs, email campaigns, and whitepapers. Ensure all content is brand managed.
  • Simplify technical information and communicate in a manner suitable for the reader.
  • Utilise SEO principles within content to drive sales leads and maximise content visibility.
  • Identify content gaps and recommend strategy.
  • Support the Head of Marketing on marketing projects and campaigns.
  • Write both internal and external communications.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to obtain content requirements.
  • Analyse content reach and report on results.
The Person
  • The ideal candidate will be an accomplished copywriter with a thorough understanding of SEO.
  • 5+ years of communications and content management experience required.
  • SAAS background is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent writing skills and attentive to detail.
  • Able to simplify technical information for laypersons.
  • Good understanding of content management systems.
  • Wordpress experience desired.
Salary and Working ArrangementThe salary for this role is £35,000.00. This role offers hybrid working with the requirement to be in the North East office 2 days per month.
