Job Description

Please note this role will cover our units based in Newcastle, Middlesbrough, South Shields & Cumbria (Carlisle/Kendal, once opened).Are you a strong administrator looking for a new challengeDo you enjoy working within a busy office or reception environment, where no two days are the sameAt BPAS, we’re looking for an exceptional administrator to come and join our fast paced and dedicated team . As an Admin Assistant you will be responsible for completing all administrative and client support tasks within the unit, supporting clients through their episode of care.Key Responsibilities;

  • Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and external colleagues as necessary, and also welcome clients and escorts to the unit directing them as required.
  • Accurately check or complete all necessary bpas and legal paperwork, ensuring relevant documentation is available for the client’s episode of care.
  • Provide all information to clients in a supportive and reassuring manner, to ensure informed choices are made at all stages of their care.
  • Monitor, edit and amend appointment list using the booking system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.
  • Advice on and collect fees from clients, carrying out and implementing bpas financial and banking procedures, and carry out other cash handling and banking procedures when needed.
  • About YouIdeally you will have strong experience of working within an office environment, where you’ve carried out administration duties. You’ll be an excellent communicator both internally and externally, and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues and external parties.We are also looking for:
  • Experience of dealing face to face with clients who may be angry or upset, within a care environment
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation, telephone and reception duties
  • Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients and is an effective team player
