Job Description

As a Clinical Specialist youll educate clinical teams how to use the latest Patient Monitoring, Anaesthesia and Ventilator medical device systems in hospitals local to the North East.

  • Youll meet with ICU / Critical Care Nurses and ODPs to discuss and understand their clinical needs in relation to Patient Monitoring, Anaesthesia and Respiratory equipment.
  • Youll present / demonstrate products that best meet their needs, support product trials, and assist them through the purchasing process. The primary aspect of the role is providing ongoing product training and support to Critical Care / ICU Nurses, ODPsand Operating Theatre teams, to ensure they are happy with and maximise use of the new equipment.
  • This varied Clinical Specialist focused role will see you visit a variety of local customer hospitals each week - mainly Newcastle but also Gateshead, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Stockton on Tees, Durham, Darlington and Hartlepool.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Ideally a qualified ODP, ICU Nurse, Critical Care Nurse, A&E Nurse, or Clinical Technologist with daily use of patient monitoring, ventilator and / or anaesthesia systems. Experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist or in medical sales is welcome,however an outgoing, ambitious ODP, Critical Care Nurse, ICU Nurse, A&E Nurse, or Clinical Technologist who is interested in clinical specialist roles will happily be considered.
  • Youll also need to enjoy working with and training others, take real pride in your work, and have clear, confident, and influential communication skills.
PACKAGE
  • Salary guide: £35-45,000 plus £20,000 bonus, company car, excellent pension, holiday allowance and benefits.
