The candidate would be expected to have a vast knowledge and experience acrossall market verticals and provide:A strong evangelist of the benefits of a managed service across a wide range of technologies"Pre-Sales" Solutions support internally and externally to account managers working on SD-WAN, SASE, Hosted Unified Communications or private and public cloud projectsOwn the creation of an Eco-system of a complete solution within a team consisting of multiple Subject Matter Experts to deliver complex solutions to address a clients requirementsProvide Technical/Business Thought Leadership skills to generate the highest number of opportunities for Exponential-eClosely interact with the engineering department during the design stage of new solutionsKey responsibilities for this job:To engage with Sales Account Managers from the early stage of the opportunity cycleTechnically qualify new opportunities in conjunction with the commercial qualificationTo attend customer meetings with Sales Account ManagersTo participate in customer conference calls when requiredThe ability to design and develop innovative and competitive solutions, working individually or leading a wider virtual team for the qualified opportunitySupport the Sales Account Manager with the commercials of the opportunityWork very closely with the Bid Team and Account Managers to respond to tenders (RFI/RFP)To act as a central point of contact and provide technical support within existing accountsCreate a close working relationship with the engineering department in order to validate proposed designs and solutionsAny other fair and reasonable task or duty assigned to you by your Manager, or other senior staff memberKnowledge and experience required:A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experienceSignificant IT / Telecoms experienceSignificant experience in a pre-sales environment with the ability to talk confidently about technical solutionsExcellent presentation skills - the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceGood commercial acumenProven technical design skills and the ability to create design documentationKnowledge of VPLS, MPLS, IP Networking, Routing Protocols, BGP, VRRP, IGRPKnowledge of SDN and SD-WAN technology and solutionsExperience in designing secure Internet solutions (UTM firewalls.
