Business Development Manager Yorkshire & North EastThe Company:A German manufacturer, established over 80 years ago. Really strong brand name that is synonymous with quality the company are a global leader in cleaning machines. Used in both the domestic and commercial settings they have established their brand as thenumber 1 within its category. Still growing and very innovative, bringing exciting new products to market they see an exciting year ahead for 2022.The Role:The Business Development Manager for selling full range of cleaning machines into commercial business. Dealing across a variety of sectors which includes Universities, Hospitals, Shopping Centres, Airports and Football stadia you will be tasked with bringingon new accounts as well as increasing sales within existing. You will be the expert representing professional cleaning equipment and associated consumables. As part of your sales process, you will be conducting demonstrations and showcasing products - therole includes a company van and fuel card. You must use your initiative to generate new market openings and leads will be passed via the internal database.Requirements:
  • Business to business sales experience
  • Those looking for their first field sales role who have previously worked largely in an office are encouraged to apply - they have recruited well from recruitment backgrounds!
  • Can sell a higher value product on features and benefits NOT PRICE
  • Consultative in sales approach - good at gaining need of a client
  • Can do attitude and hands on approach
  • Outgoing, dynamic and confident personality with a consultative sales approach
  • Driving License
Future:They are recruiting due to growth. You will attend their product training academy to support your success in this role, progression/promotions are in place for top performers.Package:
  • Basic: £30000 rising to £32000 after successful probation.
  • OTE: 50% of basic salary in year 1 - paid quarterly
  • Fully expensed company van
