As a result of continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruita client relationship assistant, based in our innovative and fast-growing Newcastle Hub, to support the London team and the EMEA region on a range of key client initiatives.This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive self-starter who enjoys working with data and is keen to learn more about marketing and business development (with a focus on key client development). In your role, you will help supportthe team who look after some of the worlds largest brands who we call our key clients.Working closely with colleagues in the client team, as well as lawyers and colleagues in other business service teams, the role covers:Reporting:Using the firms financial reporting and other systems, to assist the team in producing regular internal and external reports, presentations and financial analysis and any other reporting as required. Financial analysis could require you to decipher growth,profitability and other financial metrics.Client and Market Research:

  • Researching the client organisation and key client contacts for planning, relationship mapping purposes and opportunity identification purposes.
  • Potentially researching more macro topics which are increasingly growing in importance for our clients such as diversity and inclusion, innovation and other ad hoc topics.
  • Working closely with the relevant industry/practice business development teams to help the client team to stay up to date with the firms client campaigns and service offerings.
  • Supporting the client managers and strategic bids team on client panel pitches and major Request for Proposals (RFPs).
Client Feedback:
  • Assisting the client team in tracking matters for post-matter feedback and identifying client contacts to be approached for Client Satisfaction Interviews and assisting with follow up.
  • Assisting with internal client feedback reporting.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Providing proactive administrative and organisational support to the team including (but not limited to):
    • Maintaining relevant client team email groups.
    • Updating and maintaining individual client pages on the intranet.
    • Helping create marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, event invitations etc
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Graduate calibre and/or holder of or studying for a professional marketing qualification or equivalent.
  • Comfortable working with data and providing insights based on that data.
  • Proactive, action-oriented and willing to take initiative.
  • Practical and efficient with strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, and to communicate competing demands effectively.
  • Self-driven and adaptable (the role will require you to interact with colleagues across our global network).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborative and enjoys working as part of a high-performing team.
  • Advanced IT skills - particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A strong interest in learning more about professional services business and client development.
