Job Title: Business Delivery LeadSalary: £65,000 plus car and benefitsLocation: UK homebasedWe are working with a global supply chain business that provides food and beverage into healthcare, wholesale, hospitality and education. This role has key accountability for managing relationships between the HR & Finance business functions and businesstechnology, as well as working with executive level sponsors of programmes and projects.About the position

• Establish and maintain key relationships with HR and Finance stakeholders.
• Enable and support key functional business plans and strategies
• Successfully implement program/ project change into BAU business operations and BT Service Delivery
• Ensure that all BT governance processes are adhered to.
• Lead prioritisation of BT initiatives based on organizational needs, strategy.
• Ensure business needs/ strategies are addressed with appropriate technical solutions.
• Lead and manage team that will flex in size depending on demand.
• Escalate Program level: Risks, Issues, Dependencies & Resources
• Communication with internal / external stakeholders to make sure awareness of progress, risks and results
• Escalation point for key senior functional business stakeholders Program/ Project budget accountability.
• Services all of the HR & Finance activities across all UK business units, acting as the Business Technology ambassador for the business area
• As a member of the BT leadership team, mandatory attendance is required at business leadership meetings including Exec level meetings as required.
• Responsible for a leading a team, which may include both permanent and contracted resources.
• The role will be reporting to the Project Delivery Director

The successful candidate

• Proven knowledge and experience of HR and Finance functions
• Ability to listen, build trust, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically within the business unit, as well as with leadership and functional teams
• Excellent Team leadership skills and experience.
• Ability to map joint organizational vision and long-term thinking, imagination, and idea generation
• Energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy
• Highly developed communication skills with the ability and comfort with working at executive levels
• Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating conflict and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes at senior levels
• Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods
• Ability to set expectations with business partners and effectively leverage governance for a positive business partner experience
• Ability to influence and break down silos enterprise wide
• Technical aptitude, requirements management, and the ability to assess and articulate risk variables
• Must demonstrate acumen in business and function disciplines
• Understand and integrate business strategies and trends in technology to deliver value
• Be able to influence others, using personal rather than positional power
• Outstanding end customer/consumer relationship skills.
• Be able to identify gaps and areas that need improvement
