Job Description

As the Automaton Tester you will support key projects for the business and wider team as they revamp their products and services.Our client will support you in providing you with an in-depth knowledge transfer during your first few weeks and offer support where needed to ensure your success.The Person

  • 3-4 years Automation experience
  • Expert in the use of Java,Selenium,WebDriver
  • Exposure to Ruby (desired)
  • Functional and Non-Functional Testing (Accessibility,Performance and Security)
  • Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, quality assurance and testing processes and lifecycle of an application/service.
  • Confident in engaging with internal/external stakeholders
  • Working to Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of SQL (Oracle,PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
The Role
  • Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinaryteam setting, both internal and externally.
  • Design, development and execution of manual andautomated test approaches and frameworks.
  • Management of own work and others work to meetdeliverables.
  • Working within Agile scrum teams; creating andestimating tasks.
  • Analysis of requirements, design and developmentof applications to meet business needs.
  • Analysis, investigation and resolution of complexICT issues, within new and existing services to
  • Knowledge of design principles
  • Working knowledge of cloud, Windows and Unixenvironments
  • Use of version control systems such as Github/Gitlab
  • Frameworks and approaches to automation within aContinuous Deployment environment.
  • Translating requirements into user stories to create deliverable features.
  • Follow Agile 2 weekly sprints and show casefindings
