Job Description

Brierley J are working with an international, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Newcastle who are looking to create a new Building Services department. The consultancy operates as a one stop shop for their clients with their services including Building Services, Health & Safety, Project Management, Surveying and Facilities Management.They are looking to add an experienced, senior level Building Services Engineer to create, manage and develop a team locally. The individual coming in will be tasked with servicing an existing pipeline of work alongside developing new business and growing the department further.They will be responsible for:

  • Managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Delivering both Mechanical & Electrical design services.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Preparing design specifications and fee proposals.
  • Reviewing cost estimates.
  • Driving growth across the department using your own network.
  • Prepare business plans for growth.
    • The ideal candidate with have a degree in a relevant subject i.e., Building Services, have working knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical design engineering, hold chartership with CIBSE/IMechE and most importantly be passionate and driven about their sector.Having sound working knowledge of Hevacomp, IES & AutoCAD is essential.As this is a newly created role, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to make the role their own.
