Application Support / Delivery Managerto £65,000 + Generous Bonus + Excellent BenefitsNewcastle upon Tyne, NorthumberlandFinancial Services GroupAs a highly successful and preferred recruitment partner to this well-established Financial Services Group, we have been instructed to assist in the hire of an Application Support Manager to join them out of their Newcastle office to take responsibility for the delivery of financial software that is in use by over 7000 internal users across the business.You will be required to manage three significant third party applications and the associated delivery from the third-party vendors. You will also manage an internal team (made up of Business Analysts, Test Analysts and Configuration Analysts) and work with your two direct reports (Test Manager and Release Manager) to successfully deliver and support the applications.Role Overview-Owning the delivery of three third party applications; Xplan, CommPay and WorkSmart-Third Party Vendor Management (third party software providers)-Managing an internal team;oBAs - documenting user stories/requirements as to what apps are configured to dooTest Mgrs. / Analysts - developing automated regression packs and controlling gate into releaseoConfiguration Analysts - configuring third party software in a controlled way to meet requirementsoDirect Reports: Test Manager and Release Manager-Conducting performance monitoring-Administering and ensuring change controlSkills and Experience-Working with third party applications and software providers-Managing a team with two direct reports-Ideally experience working with financial software / applications-Ideally a background working in FinTech / Financial Services sector-Knowledge of Xplan, CommPay, WorkSmart beneficialPackage: Alongside a competitive base salary, you will be entitled to one of the most attractive benefit packages currently in the market: 26 days holiday (plus bank holidays), performance related bonus (typically 15-20%), excellent pension scheme (10% non-contributory), life assurance (4x), income protection (75%), private healthcare and a range of great flexible benefits.
