Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Account Director to undertake management responsibilities of our account team and TFM operations. This role will involve both managing relationships with customers and leading account personnel, providing an exceptional clientexperience and increasing our customers satisfactionThe ideal candidate will have a work history that demonstrate abilities in building and maintaining customer relationships and possess the excellent planning and leadership skills needed to coordinate and advise account management teamsThe goal is to ensure the companys retention of customers and facilitate further growth.Responsibilities will include:

  • Plan budgets and activities for account management team and portfolio
  • Set up goals and objectives for all account teams
  • Provide feedback and support to account staff to meet goals/objectives
  • Conduct performance evaluation using key metrics
  • Understand customer requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and generate new business
  • Ensure the timely delivery of services and products to clients
  • Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen customer trust
  • Produce performance reports and communicate the overall contract progress to customers and senior management
  • Create account strategies, leading projects from conception to final execution
  • Establish goals and objectives for internal teams to follow
  • Meet deadlines and project budgets
  • Supervise staff and projects, motivating and mentoring staff to hit goals and produce successful service delivery for clients, as well as providing feedback
  • Maintain relationships and serve as the point of contact and liaison for customers
Qualifications and Experience required:
  • Hold professional membership (CIBSE,BIFM,IOSH)
  • IT literate - proficiency in all MS Office software
  • Commercial and financial awareness in a client environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience of facilities management within a multi service remit, including hard and soft services.
  • Ability to influence and hold a position in a debate
  • Proven experience as an Account Director or similar position
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress
