Job Description

Our locally based client is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their team, working within an open plan office, this role will hold autonomy and will require an individual who can work using their own initiative, this role will be providing purchaseadministration service to the business and will be supporting other departments if needed. This is a great role and holds responsibility for a business that has great prospects and opportunities.* Obtain quotes from suppliers* Calculate delivered costs of products* Raise purchase orders from purchase requisitions* Book transport for incoming goods (Europe / Worldwide)* Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies* Investigate and resolve price discrepancies* Monitor delivery dates and liaise with suppliers if goods are due but not received* Handle product complaints* Arrange product returns with suppliers* Ensuring certificates from suppliers are up to date* Prepare stock reports, as & when required* Ensure import documentation is accurate and received on time* Helping visitors to the site* Check delivery notes against orders* General administration/ad hoc dutiesCandidate Requirements: * Previous experience of working within a Purchasing department.* Previous administrative experience working in an office environment.* Ability to use Microsoft Excel.* Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise own work, and meet deadlines.* High level of written and verbal communication skills.* Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team.* Previous experience in dealing with imports would be an advantage Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30 am - 5.15 pm Friday 8.30 - 3.45 pmSalary: £28,000 Per AnnumBrampton Recruitment is an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region.
