Job Description

Sales ManagerNewark, Full Time, PermanentSalary DOEWe are proud to be working in partnership with a successful manufacturing business to recruit a Sales Manager who will lead, develop, motivate and manage the Sales team.THE ROLEAs a Sales Manager your duties will include:

  • Achieving sales growth, driving new areas to increase business revenue targets
  • Lead and develop the Sales team ensuring an effective lead generation is in place
  • Delivering convertible leads within corporate/distributers organisations
  • Ensuring the team is achieving KPI targets
  • Managing day to day staff matters
  • Ensuring all relevant systems/company records are accurate and up to date
  • Ensuring team members manage enquiries and quotations to ensure customer orders are accurate and timely
  • Producing regular reports and liaising with the management team
THE CANDIDATEThe ideal Sales Manger will be a skilled people manager with a proven track of proactively managing a successful sales team.
  • A confident, professional individual with excellent interpersonal skills
  • An ability to influence at a senior level
  • High numerical skills with the ability to present data
  • An effective problem solver with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to create relationships and build rapport within the team
  • Strong Microsoft office knowledge
  • Able to delegate and prioritise tasks
  • Experience of using SAGE desirable but not essential
