Job Description

  • Candidates will ideally have experience of working in finance, but this is not essential, as training will be provided
  • 3 days per week home working, £20,500, flexible working hours and potential for study support
Client DetailsOur client is a large business based in Bilsthorpe (between Newark and Mansfield). It has an extremely supportive and friendly finance team of 15.DescriptionYou will be reporting into the Accounts Supervisor and will be working alongside other Purchase Ledger Clerks. Once you have received all of the necessary training, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Coding invoices to the system
  • Matching invoices to the goods received note
  • Checking the supplier accounts are accurate and updating where necessary
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid on time
  • Dealing with suppliers over the telephone and via email
  • Reconciling the purchase and nominal ledgers
ProfileTo apply for this position, you will ideally have some experience of working in finance. However, candidates without experience will be considered if you are studying or have studied an accounting qualification, such as AAT or BA Accounting and Finance.Job OfferOur client is offering:
