Job Description

Complex Care Assistant - NottinghamshireAd-Hoc, block paid shifts available Pay scale from 11.59 - £17.39 per hour with weekly payTo work within the area of NG13 & NG24, we are seeking experienced care staff to support across a package of care for night shifts & day shifts ad-hoc. All shifts are 7pm-7am & 7am-7pm with pay for the total duration and at one location (these arenot part of a home care run).Our clients require a range of complex interventions to include PEG and support to live independently. They require consistent members of a team to support them to live at home, maintain their safety, conduct clinical interventions needed as partof their care plan and to engage within their local communities. All shifts ensure that they are supported on a 2:1 ratio, meaning that you will always be working alongside another trained member of their care team.Initial and comprehensive ongoing training and development will be led by our branch nurses, in full consultation with yourself, to ensure you both meet the compliance standards set out within legislation, and that you also pursue a career path drivenand mapped out to suit your own goals.Being employed as a Carer by us means:

  • Comprehensive training and support delivered by allocated Branch Nurses on a 1:1 training basis; this includes training for PEG and level 3 medication support amongst other clinical requirements as per individual client
  • You will be paid for post-employment eLearning at £9.50 per hour

Your role will include:
  • Prompting medication
  • Helping with the preparation of meals and drinks
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, domestic duties and personal care
  • Supporting the diversity of our clients and their requirements
  • Encouraging community trips and facilitating client participation
  • Maintaining and updating reports such as care reports and Medication Administration Records.
Were looking for:
  • Paid previous experience as a care assistant.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A drivers licence is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Good professional and personal references
