Job Description

Chef De PartieAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Chef De Partie based in Neston. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week and will earn £19,000 to £21,800. The successful candidate will work alongside head chef/sous chef to manage daily kitchen activities, menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking. Provides meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes/ standards set by head and sous chef.An immediate start it available, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a small and unique team.Role Requirements

  • Experience in kitchens would be an advantage
  • Due to the establishment’s rural location, own transport is essential
  • Have knowledge of food hygiene standards
  • A driven team player
  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Role Responsibilities
  • Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
  • Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
  • Trains new kitchen employees to restaurant and kitchen standards
  • Minimises waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns
  • Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
  • Prepares and cooks food to standards set out by head and sous chef
  • Works with head chef/sous chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities
  • Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed
  • Assists head chef with menu creation
  • Maintains high standards of cleanliness within the kitchen
  • Ensures that all kitchen paperwork is completed at the end of service
  • Have the opportunity to have input on the menus
