Job Description

Business Development Manager (home based) up to £50k plus performance based bonus and car allowanceMy client is a leading, national specialist working at height sub-contractor, operating within multiple sectors including facility/property management as well as working directly with end users. If you have experience in a field sales role, either within the construction industry or within facilities/property management,and would like to join them on their journey, dont hesitate to apply.THE JOBThe successful Business Development Manager will work as part of the Testing & Inspection sales team, driving new sales to grow thecustomer base. Reporting into the companys founding Directors, you will manage a sales pipeline as well as: Developing and growing customer relationships, and Account Management Following up on marketing campaign leads and maximising their potential, resulting in winning new clients and new contracts Cold calling and self generating new business Attending site visits and sales meetingsWHAT YOU CAN EXPECTThis role comes with a fantastic basic salary and a very realisticOTE of up to £60k, plus car allowance. Company benefits include: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Remote role, unless located within travelling distance of the Neston office Travel to meet customers (1-2 days per week maximum) Regular company incentives and social events Dynamic, professional andfun culture with real opportunity for progression and growth Hours of work Mon-Thurs 9.00am -5.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 4.00pmABOUT YOUYou are a true hunter, with a proven track record of successful sales within the construction industry and/or facilities/property management companies and end users. You havethe drive and ambition to exceed sales targets as well as: Experience speaking directly with a variety of stakeholders including multi national clients, main contractors, and facilities/property management professionals Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships at all levels Good, confident telephone manner with experience of selling over the phone Strong rapport building skills and a friendly, outgoing, and confident personality Knowledge of working at height/lightening protection/fall access would be highly advantageous, as would experience within testing, inspection and compliance
