Clinical Specialist Podiatrist – Band 6Are you an enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated, experienced NHS Podiatrist looking fora change of scenery or career progressionIf so, we have an opportunity for you to join our innovative and friendly team of Podiatrists at Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP). This Clinical Specialist Podiatrist post will take placeat the community podiatry clinics within the CCICP footprint as well as regular domiciliary visits to residential homes or patients houses. The role may require travel toallCare Community basesdue to service pressures.The role will involve clinical assessment and treatment of patients referred to the Podiatry department. As this is a Specialist Role you will need to have undertaken mentorship and gained experience in all aspects of podiatry and have developed an area of specific special interest such as wound care, nail surgery or biomechanics.What we are looking for:An enthusiastic and well-rounded HCPC registered Podiatrist with experience of working in the NHS andproven post registration experience in all aspects of podiatry work as demonstrated by their CPD portfolio.Someone who is physically fit as the work can be quite demanding, especially when undertaking domiciliary visits.Someone who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within the podiatry team and potentially wider MDT.Someone who has the organisational and time management skills key to efficiently managing patient caseloads.someone who will be able to provide a patient centred approach to care, underpinned with soundclinical knowledge, andevidence basedassessment and management of a variety of conditions.The role will involve working independently as an autonomous practitioner and you will be expected to be involved in service projects and audit to ensure high quality,evidence basedpractice enabling standardised care forall acrossthe service.The role may require the candidate to assist in the supervision of Band 5 Podiatrists, Assistants, Podiatry Students or other observational placements.A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or be able to demonstrate means of meeting the travel requirements of the post.What we offer in return:On commencing theroleyou will have a full induction and ongoing annual appraisal.The successful candidate will have access to regular clinical supervision and personaldevelopment planning.The service prides itself on the pathways in place for complex patient management via onward referral to Advanced Clinical Specialists and other Multidisciplinary Teams.5 days – Monday-Friday.Normal working hours 8.30-12.30/ 1-4.30For Further details/ informal visit please contact:Rachael Davenport Podiatry Team Manager
