Senior Mechanical Design EngineerARCA Resourcing is exclusively partnered a rapidly growing engineering company that is creating revolutionary, cutting-edge, motion simulators for the automotive and F1 markets.Due to continued growth and increase in product demand they are looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team.The culture is passionate, fast-paced, open and transparent where engineering innovation and experimentation is constantly in mind.The Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer 3 month (initial) contract Bristol w/ remote - hybrid working £45 p/h (potentially higher) - Outside of IR35We are looking for experienced mechanical engineers with a background in structures, mechanisms, systems, components and products.The role will be closely supporting the Lead Mechanical Engineer and Head of Mechanical Design in technical file content covering some of the responsibilities below: Author and verifier of specifications, reports, analyses and calculations. Requirements definition, optioneering and feasibility studies. Design validation and verification of mechanical designs and drawings. Preparing and conducting stakeholder reviews and workshops. Conduct design safety reviews. Presentation of Design Reviews. Ensuring compliance with EU directives, UK legislation, HSE guidelines and UK and international codes and standards.
