HCA UK are incredibly proud to be awarded Private Hospital Group of the Year2020 at the Health Investor Awards.Job -Senior 1 Radiographer (CT, Generals & IR)Location - The Princess Grace Hospital, LondonContract Type - Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs across Monday to Friday (Shift patterns range from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm or 2pm-10pm). Shifts are usually 7.5 hours a day however there is scope to cover longer days.Other Info - There are on-call & weekend dutiesSalary Range- Competitive dependent on skills & experience. This role is equivalent to a Band 7 NHS.VISA - We will be able to sponsor VISAs for candidates within the EU and outside the EUJob DescriptionReporting to the Superintendent radiographer, the post holder will provide a customer focused high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users. To strive for and maintain the best standard of diagnostic imaging and efficiencyfor our users at all times. The role will be rotational through CT, General Radiography and Interventional Imaging.   • To provide a professional standard of excellence in radiographic services for all patients.
  • To have CT experience and be competent in CT scanning.
  • Share clinical knowledge with junior colleagues both formally (through CPD sessions/clinical competency forms) and informally (ad hoc teaching/training opportunities).
  • To participate on the shift rotation in all modalities, and undertake weekend and on-call duties in CT and Imaging.
  • To help with booking of immediate/on the day appointments and maintain appropriate departmental records as necessary.
  • Under the direction of the relevant Superintendent Radiographer, actively participate in one of the following Governance/Service development programmes:- Work book/induction- Radiology audit- Reject analysis- Quality Assurance- Infection Control- Customer feedback
Skills & Experience
  • HCPC registered
  • Degree within Radiography
  • Extensive post qualification experience
