Job Description

Robert Half is working exclusively with a successful manufacturing company with offices based in Motherwell, with the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their team. This is the ideal position for an ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or QBE accountantwho is looking for role within a busy team.Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role involves:

  • Production of monthly management accounts and reports and monthly reconciliation of balance sheet items
  • Production of monthly consolidated forecast
  • Preparation of annual budget
  • Production of monthly invoices and assisting credit control when required in securing payments
  • Assistance and coordination of information flow in respect of annual statutory audit
  • Produce financial analysis and propose actions to improve
  • Control and monitor projects supporting the operational team
Profile
  • This role would suit a part qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE Accountant (AAT studier also welcomed) with good knowledge of accounting standards
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere
Salary between £35000 and £38000 per annum plus benefits depending on qualifications and experience.
