Job Description

Our client a well established Mnaufacturing facility is seeking a Internal Sales Representative (Power Pricer) , Permanent role for their site based in Newhouse , Motherwell, Lanarkshire.MissionPromote and sell the organisations products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or list of customer accounts to secure orders at the best commercial rates within lower volume sales in line with the companys terms and conditionsto the highest Environmental, Health and Safety standardsKey Figures

AccountabilitiesNegotiate prices and secure for lower volume sales leads using the set guidelines within the Power Pricing system in response to customer enquiriesAnalyse and identify customer requirements from customer correspondence and refer if outside area of responsibilityInput customer enquiry into Power Pricing toolUse the Power Pricing guidelines to make decisions on what to quote the customer Calculate prices for products that fall outside range of power pricingQuote the customerPost won orders/quotes to ARMA through Power Pricing systemPromote additional products and added value servicesAssess customer needsResearch the project for appropriate product suggestions Identify appropriate products for projectCalculate and quote the customerIdentify, research and contact prospective and current customers and build/maintain positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat businessUse internal and external resources to identify potential customers Make contact with prospective, lapsed and current customersEstablish the needs of the customerCoordinate visits to sites if the volume is appropriateEngage with the appropriate company stakeholders to refer sales leads (accessory sales, any query) Provide customer feedback and information on customer and competitor activity to appropriatecontacts within the organisation so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demandsManage quotes within Power Pricing systemReview status of quoted projectsIdentify open quotes and contact to enquire up to date customer requirements Update Power Pricing with current status of customer enquiriesEnsure all lost quotes are captured in the appropriate systemManage the delivery of secured ordersCoordinate with Production and Transport in depot or via third party to deliver order requirements where appropriateObtain rebar and delivery schedulesSupply schedules to automatic scheduling repository efficientlyOversee the customer delivery schedule through scheduling systemLiaise with production to ensure delivery commitments to our customers are metResolve problems and customer complaintsIdentify potential complaints from customers as the contract progresses Take appropriate action to avoid a customer complaintRespond to customer complaints that arise Log customer complaints in CRM systemRespond to feedback received from the CRM systemAnalyse and take action or escalate when common complaint trends are identified Work in conjunction with the credit control team to resolve credit issuesMiscellaneous or ad hoc business requirementsManage specific projects or undertake specific project activity as determined by the business or line managerTravel to specific locations in order to undertake role requirements as required Represent your function or business at meetings or events as requiredUndertake any reasonable request in order to support the needs of the businessTechnical Competencies : Power Pricing, ARMA, CRM, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Success FactorsThe package details are as follows:
  • Salary: 25k per annum.
  • Permanent Role
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
  • Shifts to be 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
  • Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Pension: auto-enrolment at 4%, matched by the Company up to 5%.
  • Life cover at three times basic salary, whilst actively contributing to the pension scheme
