Job Description

Internal Sales Executive - Fixings & AnchorsJob Title: Internal Sales Executive - Fixings & AnchorsIndustry Sector: Fixings, Resin Anchors, Mechanical Anchors, Threaded Studs, Screws, Sealants, Fastenings, Housebuilder, Main Contractors, Sub ContractorsLocation: Motherwell or surrounding areasRemuneration: £22,000 - £30,000 + discretionary bonusBenefits: Full Comprehensive Benefits PackageThe role of the Internal Sales Executive - Fixings & Anchors will involve:

  • Internal sales position, selling a high end range of manufactured fixings & anchors the house builder and commercial market sectors
  • 50% of your time will be spent selling in housebuilders
  • 50% of your time will be spent selling into commercial construction
  • Taking inbound email and telephone enquiries and advising customers on product range
  • Producing and following up quotes to convert sales
  • Proactively calling and managing current active accounts (circa 300)
  • Building and developing relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Upselling and cross selling the full product range wherever possible
The ideal applicant will be Internal Sales Executive - Fixings & Anchors with:
  • Must have sales experience within the construction industry, ideally working within a merchant
  • Ideally will have fixing, fastenings and anchors experience, however this isnt essential
  • Ideally will have experience selling to contractors and housebuilder
  • Ideally will have contacts within the industry
  • Must be technical minded and able to overcome technical queries
  • Commercially astute, professional, organised
  • Positive, professional and customer service orientated
