Business Intelligence Delivery Manager - remote Working, Motherwell, £65-70K + £5.4K Car Allowance + 10% Bonus. Ideally you will have a background as a Business Intelligence Delivery Manager, managing multi-skilled teams across multiple locations withexperience of Power BI and / or Oracle BI.You will lead and manage the Business Intelligence (BI) team within the Corporate Reporting Team of our Group IT Data & Development function.The Corporate Reporting team are responsible for the development and support of a variety of applications, specifically Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud Services and Hyperion Financial Management.Responsibilities:*Overall ownership of the Power BI & Oracle BI applications throughout the organisation.*Leadership of the group BI teams and our business community of analysts.*Working with diverse groups of stakeholders towards delivery of appropriate solutions.*Reviewing technical solutions ensuring they are appropriate, align with strategy and meet requirements.*Co-development and delivery of BI strategy and roadmap alongside our Head of Data & Architecture teams.*Lead efficiency improvements and modernisation of our BI estate.*Help steer our future BI and data tooling & process decisions.*Tracking, managing, and resolving support issues across the estate.*Identifying risks, issues, dependencies, and other blockers to successful delivery, and helping the team to overcome them.*Stakeholder management for both development and support related areas.*Development of team processes and group BI standards.*Representation of the BI team in senior forums / discussions e.g. Steering Groups, Project Boards, Change Boards.*Act as a champion for Business Intelligence throughout the organisation.*Performance management and staff development.*Resource planning & allocation.*Team & delivery management.*Responsibility for recruitment on-shore and off-shore.*Engagement with 3rd party vendors / partners.Technical skills:*Microsoft Power BI & Oracle BI or similar.*AWS, Azure or OCI cloud infrastructure experience.*Experience with modern data platforms (data lakes, ELT, graph databases etc)*SQL (MS, PS or other) experience.*ETL toolsets (Informatica, Glue, Matillion or equivalent).*Knowledge & Understanding of Data Modelling & Data Warehousing skills.*Experience in Data AnalysisDesirable:*Python experience in a data analytics context (pandas etc)*Understanding of graph database technology (Neo4j or other)*Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management tools (PBCS, HFM)*Knowledge of data compliance and security around data driven solutions.*Experience of platform migrations.*Experience of recruitment onshore and offshore.This Business Intelligence Delivery Manager - Remote Working, Motherwell position pays c£65-70K + £5.4K Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Bens.
