Job Purpose:The Administrator will be based within a Payroll team and be responsible for the effective and efficient day to day administration to assist the central payroll team and deliver a high valued payroll service to our flexible workers.The Payroll Administrator will be responsible in processing high volume, timesheet data, annual leave, SSP on to our in-house database system on a weekly basis with precision and accuracy working within the submission deadlines.The Payroll Administrator ensures that administrative & payroll procedures conform to relevant law & government legislation together with internal regulations, policies, procedures and external contractual obligations.The Payroll Administrator is also expected to contribute to the overall administration of the Branch.Duties and Responsibilities:- Daily extract management of our inhouse timesheet and invoicing system- Process all timesheets on our payrolls by submission deadline- Deal with any pay related queries from candidates, and invoicing queries from clients- Process any general invoices as required by your Manager- Daily monitoring of internal invoice query system, closing off queries as necessary to help reduce live queries at the end of the week- Weekly reports to be submitted to relevant branches with regards to any input information for review and updates- Timely submission of all tax documents to Head Office- Accurate input kof all new bookings and subsequent submission of bookbac list and action as updates as required by branch- Will also be required to liaise with various other branches and provide administrative payroll support where requiredPerson Specification:The post holder should have high levels of personal integrity and be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a small team. You will be required to take a high level of personal responsibility for your own work. You must have a sound judgementunder pressure, work to a high level of accuracy & compliance, have good organisation skills and consistently meet set SLA and timescales.Flexibility is also key, as demands and business needs may change very quickly therefore workload priorities may vary from time to time.Experience in using the Internet, MSWord, MSExcel and Outlook would be advantageous. Must also have a willingness and aptitude to learn new technology applications.
