As a Statutory Maintenance Officer (Mechanical) you will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of planned maintenance programs and other building relatedcommercial compliance contracts. These contracts cover the councils portfolio of approximately 400 buildings including Schools, Leisure Centres and Corporate buildings. You will monitor external partner organisations in the delivery of the statutory maintenanceservices against specification, performance, determining the quality of workmanship and effectiveness of any remedial repairs undertaken, ensuring service delivery complies with current health and safety and other relevant legislation.We are offering: 25 days annual leave plus public and bank holidays (rising to 30 after 5 years of service). A wide range of staff benefits including a competitive annual leave provision.Essential Requirements:Educated to HND/ONC level or equivalent technical qualification and demonstrable delivery of a role at a similar level. Furthermore, having technical knowledge and understanding of the current gas regulations is desirable, as the role may involve oversightof commercial and domestic gas contracts. You must have a flexible approach to working arrangements as this post is a mixture of office/home based working with regular visits to buildings within the portfolio, therefore you must also be able to meet the transportrequirement.
