Further InformationNorthumberland County Councils Green Spaces and Countryside team, in partnership with Forestry England, seek to recruit a fixed term member of staff to work to resolve issues on public rights of way in forested areas in the west of Northumberland. A significant number of public rights of way were affected (and continue to be affected) by Storm Arwen; this post has been created in order to resolve these issues as well as other similar (more longstanding) issues. Applicants should possess a clear understanding of the management of public rights of way and legal processes related to regulating access, as well as practical knowledge and experience of dealing with physical works on the rights of way network.
