Job Description

Here at Merton College, we are looking for a Lecturer in IT to deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students, to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in supporting the developmentof the curriculum, with employer engagement and learner skills development central.We’re looking for someone who holds a degree or equivalent in an IT related discipline and who has previous experience of teaching IT in an FE College or School. You’ll be able to use programming languages, data modelling, cyber security and website developmentwhilst successfully tutoring and supporting learners.With a strong working knowledge of current IT BTEC framework for teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance, you will have a successful record of setting and implementing target setting, monitoring and reviewing progress, and have evidence ofeffective employer engagement in curriculum design and delivery.Closing date for the return of completed applications is 22nd November 2023.
