Education Support Worker - Morden

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated Education Support Worker to work in a Secondary school setting supporting pupils with SEND and Autism based in Morden or the surrounding areas. The school is seeking a Education Support Worker that have experiencein coaching or mentoring. The ideal candidate must feel comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour from Children and young adults, that can show a calm approach to this behaviour. Experience of working with children or adults in an education setting isnot essential, but a willingness to learn new coaching skills to improve behaviour is critical. The ideal candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills and the ability also to take small groups.Job Responsibilities* Supporting secondary pupils with SEND* Ability to engage and support pupils * Supervising and mentoring behaviour of pupils* Comfortable leading pupils learning in small groupsBenefits to you
