As part of the National Tutoring Programme, we are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Maths Tutor to join our team.As a Secondary Maths Tutor with Reed Tutors, you will play a crucial role in helping students excel in their mathematics studies. You will work closely with secondary school students, providing personalised tutoring sessions to support their learning and boosttheir confidence in maths.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions for secondary school students.- Tailor tutoring materials and methods to meet individual student needs.- Assist students in understanding and mastering mathematical concepts.- Provide guidance and support to help students improve their problem-solving skills.- Monitor and track student progress to ensure measurable improvement.- Collaborate with school staff and parents to create a supportive learning environment.Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics is preferred.- Strong knowledge of the secondary school maths curriculum.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Patience and the ability to motivate and engage students.- A commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.Benefits:- Competitive pay rate of £30 per hour.- Fulfilling role supporting students educational development.- Opportunity to make a positive impact on the local community.- Ongoing professional development and support.
