Job Description

Senior Asbestos Consultant Up to £38,000 + Benefits Mitcham, South London (Remote Based)Our client, a market leading cross-compliance consultancy with over 20 years trading experience and a leading reputation within the Asbestos market, are on the look-out for a multi-skilled and self-starting Senior Asbestos Consultant to join their expandingconsultancy team in the South East.Due to continued company growth, our client is looking to hire a highly professional Asbestos Consultant who has a minimum of 5 years industry experience and is able to deliver high level consultancy services to the companys portfolio of clients.As an Asbestos Consultant, you will:

  • Conduct Management, Refurbishment/Demolition and re-inspection surveys across a range of premises
  • Carry out air monitoring, fibre counting and 4 stage clearances
  • Supervise asbestos removal contractors on site, ensuring all work is carried out in line with guidelines and procedures
  • Attend consultancy meetings with clients
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Assist with the technical review and preparation of reports
  • Ensure all work is carried out effectively and in accordance with the Health & Safety regulations with regards to asbestos
Role Requirements:
  • BOHS P402, P403 & P404/RSPH3 qualified as a minimum
  • 5 + years industry experience
  • Strong technical knowledge/experience in both asbestos surveying and analytical works
  • Full UK driving license with a flexible approach to travel
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Broad understanding of HSG: 264 & HSG: 248 and the asbestos legislation in relation to asbestos
  • A good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure
