Job Description

Subject Leader- Science in Special Educational Needs -MitchamWe are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced SEND Science Teacher in Sutton starting from January 2021.The school caters to students with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) and Asperger Syndrome. The schools benefits from their own in-house multidisciplinary specialist team which works closely with the teaching staff in order to provide education that focuses on Autism.The right candidate must have a Science background as they will also take undertake duties of being the subject leader.Required skills:

  • A patient and understanding approach
  • An interest in working with students with SEND
  • Be flexible in your approach
  • Existing DBS check on the update service- NEW DBS CHECKS CAN BE APPLIED FOR
  • Existing experience working with children or adults with ASD.
