Job Description

Trainee Machine OperativeIf you are looking for a role whereby you will get training & support along with an opportunity to gain permanent employment after 12 week, apply NOW!Our prestigious client based in WF14 a family run manufacturing business are seeking 2 trainee machine operatives to join them on a 12 week temp to perm basis, whereby the successful candidates will receive on the job training resulting in being a trainedmachine operator.The Role:

  • Supporting the machine operatives whilst learning.
  • Placing product on and off the line
  • Ensuring the product is fit for purpose and the required level of quality by checking measurements & weight.
  • Completing basic order paper work
  • Checking quality of products
  • Some lifting of finished product up to 25KG
  • Adhering to all H&S at all times.
  • Other general duties as outlined by supervisor
Please note this role is within an industrial environment and will require some housekeeping to keep work area safe & tidy; also to prepare for each new order through the manufacturing process.Hours of work:Monday to Friday rotating shifts06:15- 14:15 / 14:1522:15Pay & Benefits First 12 weeks paid at £10.42 per hour then graded pay there after depending on training once trained £11.15 - £11.87 per hour depending on machine/area.
