Job Description

Senior Lab Analyst/Supervisor with QQQ / QTOF LC-MS/MS experience responsible for analytical testing and leading the team on technical expertise for quality, instrumentation and productivity.Client DetailsInnovative DNA, drug and alcohol testing laboratory who operate to the highest of standards (ISO17025 accredited) and have pioneered a new method of best practice specifically designed for testing in the Family Courts.DescriptionAs a successful Senior Lab Analyst / Supervisor you will:

  • Perform analysis on forensic samples using QQQ and QTOF LCMS/MS (and GCMS) techniques.
  • Interpret and evaluate analytical data to generate accurate and reliable results.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document and organize findings, preparing comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support investigations and provide expert testimony when required.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in forensic science and contribute to research and development initiatives within the laboratory.
ProfileTo be a Senior Lab Analyst / Supervisor based in Mirfield you will be expected to have/be:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Forensic Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Forensic Analyst, with a strong focus on QQQ and QTOF LCMS/MS techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of forensic laboratory procedures and quality control protocols.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex analytical data.
  • Proficiency in using analytical software and instruments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
