Job Description

PROJECT ENGINEERMy client is a market leading manufacturer who specialise in products for a niche sector . Due to their ongoing success and expansion they have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their talented team. The Project Engineer role requirestechnical/product knowledge and also planning, communication and management skills, together with commercial acumen.Responsibilities will include:

  • Production of technical documents:
    • Design documents such as FDS’s
    • Documents for equipment and software testing and validation such as FQT, FAT, SAT/IQ-OQ
    • Operating & maintenance manuals
  • Equipment and software testing, both internal testing and customer witnessed tests
  • Liaison with the design department for production of CAD design documents such as GA drawings, P&ID drawings, electrical schematics, pneumatic schematics etc.
  • Liaison with other departments - factory assembly, testing, shipping etc
  • Customer and supplier communication
  • Planning, scheduling and expediting
  • Procurement
  • Project management on selected projects
The Project Engineer will work on multiple contracts, usually with a Project Manager but will take overall responsibility for smaller projects.The company offer a competitive salary which is dependent on experience together with additional benefits and rewards.
