Job Description

Our client is an integrated pharmaceutical company, committed to accelerating access to affordable and innovative medicines. Their major therapeutic areas of focus are gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, diabetology, oncology, pain management and dermatology.Our client operates internationally, major markets include USA, India, Russia & CIS countries and Europe.In this role you will support the sites engineering and maintenance departments on a low tier COMAH site. Providing process engineering support across a variety of small scale (kg) batch manufacturing plants up to large scale continuous process manufacturingplants.Own and lead small to medium sized CAPEX and OPEX projects including the management of internal and external work groups to help deliver these projects.Take ownership of the sites Compliance database and ensure all compliance actions are managed and closed out in a timely manner. These include DSEAR/HAC/PUWER/ALARP/PHR/HAZOP/HAZID.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead & provide support to engineering CAPEX and OPEX projects
  • Carryout drawing updates, check current P&IDs and update where necessary
  • Take responsibility for closing out actions/small projects associated with process and general engineering activities for the department.
  • Take ownership of and drive the compliance database to close out actions associated with DSEAR/PUWER/HAC/PHR/ALARP for site.
  • Reviewing and archiving engineering documentation
  • Generation and execution of equipment qualification documentation e.g., DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ
  • Adhere to and promote site EHS rules and UK compliance/legislation to ensure people and plant safety is at the forefront of everything we do.
  • Participate in PHR/HAZOP/HAZID studies and reviews
To apply for this role you must be a degree qualified and eligible to work in the UK. Youll have previous experience of working in chemical or pharmaceutical industries, ideally COMAH and experience in project management and leading multidisciplined teams.SAP experience is beneficial.
