Engineering / Stores AdministratorLocation: Milngavie, Glasgow G62 7LN.Salary: Competitive, DOE.Contract: Part time, fixed term contract to 31 December 2021.Saica is one of the leading European players in the development and production of recycled paper for corrugated cardboard with a production of 2.5 million tons of paper.The Company has recently built on its’ success in the paper and corrugated market and diversified into the development and production on Flexible packaging.With more than 9,000 employees across Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, UK, Ireland, Turkey, Luxembourg and The Netherlands, Saica Group has four business divisions: recycled paper production for corrugated cardboard (PAPER), recyclable materials recovery (NATUR), production of corrugated packaging (PACK) and flexible packaging (FLEX).The consolidated turnover of the multinational group is over 3.5 billion Euros.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Administrator within our Milngavie plant working between 16 to 25 hours per week.You will be working closely with our Engineering Team to ensure that all administrative requirements are fulfilled and organised effectively.Duties and Responsibilities:The role will be responsible for all aspects of administration for the engineering department - including:• Day to day ordering of parts and engineering supplies• Maintaining and updating relevant systems• Inventory management and control (ensuring people record what they use)• Stock Management:1. clearing goods inwards2. ensuring labels are on all parts3. ensuring parts booked into maximo system4. undertake regular stock takes• Compiling reports on a regular basis• Other ad hoc office duties.Essential Skills and Experience:• Excellent administration experience and IT skills including MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Intermediate level excel skills• Ability to manage external suppliers• Understanding of inventory control and engineering systems. • Basic knowledge of workplace safety• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Numeracy, tenacity and resourcefulness• Attention to detail and accuracyDesirable Skills and Experience:• An education or experience working in engineering would be advantageous.SAICA is an Equal Opportunities Employer and welcomes applications from any suitably qualified candidate.Closing Date: Friday 19 February 2021If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on "APPLY" today, forwarding an up to date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.No agencies please.
