Commis ChefOur client is seeking 2 ambitious Commis Chefs to join their team.The role will include assisting the Senior Chef on duty with storage, preparation and cooking of all food items whilst adhering to all Health and Food Safety as laid out by management.The right candidate will be eager to learn and enthusiastic about working with food, with a view to developing their own skills.Duties and responsibilities will include:- Prepare, cook and serve meals to the company standards required and client’s satisfaction- To be fully aware of kitchen layout and function of equipment within- To always keep fridge, food production areas and stores clean and tidy- To work with raw materials and dry goods in a proper stock rotation and hygienic manner- Attend all relevant training courses or sessions set by the company- To present a smart, tidy, professional appearance at all times and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene- To carry out any reasonable requests made by the Manager on duty or senior member of staff- A food preparation/hygiene qualification is also desired, but not essentialLive-in accommodation may also available for this position.
