HGV Technician Cheshire£24,491 - £27,741This company offer growth and progression!!Overtime at 1.5 x Hourly Rate (as and when required)Shift: 06:00 - 14:00 / 13:10 - 21:00 alternatingMy client, a growing Environmental Operations Business is looking to employ an experiencedHGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / LGV Mechanic / LGV Technician for their new purpose built site in Cheshire. The role of HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / LGV Technician will include:·Carrying out scheduled servicing inspection and preparation for testing as required for all fleet vehicles (LGV to small vehicles)·Carrying out MOT Tests·Undertaking regular safety inspections of LGVs in accordance with the statutory requirements to maintain Goods Vehicle Operators Licence and repair defects as necessary.·Inspecting vehicles plant and specialist equipment to diagnose faults (mechanical/electrical/hydraulic) and repair as necessary.·Completing all necessary records relating to the inspection, service and repair of all fleet items in accordance with statutory and administrative requirements.·Liaising with colleagues, vehicle operatives and managers to prioritise workload, organise replacement parts and/or specialist support when required.·Supervising and direct the activities of the apprentices·Providing out of hours repairs and breakdown cover as required by front line services.Some of the benefits the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / LGV Technician can expect: ·Tool Allowance·15% Pension contribution·30 days holiday allowance·COVID 19 Secure working environment ·Salary sacrifice schemes·Flexible working hoursRequired for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:·Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician·HND / HNC Highly desirable·HGV licence is an advantage·Hydraulic / Electrical experience ·Diagnostic experience·Full UK Driving LicenceThis is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing and financially stable organisation.
