WHAT COMPANY YOU WILL BE WORKING FORDue to a period of growth and emergence of new markets, Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit Time Served Welder/Fabricators for our client in the County Durham area. The role is recruiting Welder/Fabricators on a permanent basis who are able to passa weld test to coding standards of either ASME 9 or ISO9606 standards.This is a very exciting opportunity and the organisation in question has a very healthy order book. To confirm these are permanent roles!WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLEWe are seeking Welder/Fabricators who are able to deliver any of the following:General Stainless-Steel Welding: 0.5mm-25mm using TIG, MAG, Flux Core or Plasma processesPipe Welders: 2mm-6mm using TIG 6G Pipe processesMild Steel Welding: 4mm-8mm using MAG, TIG Sub Arc processesFabricating using bending, folding and folding fabrication tools & techniques. Using guillotines and plasma cutters.Working to engineering drawingsWorking with both light to heavy fabricationsEnsuring quality workmanshipWHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITIONTime Served Welder or FabricatorProficient with welding processesWelder/Fabricators with current or lapsed coding preferredApplicants must be able to complete a Weld Test that depending on your skill set and background will be a General Flat Plate MIG/TIG Fillet Test or a 6G Pipe TestWHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLEThis is a permanent job from day one. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:15am -4:15pm and Friday 8:15am2:30pm. The role centres on a 37.5-hour week.WHAT SALARY PACKAGE YOU WILL BE RECEIVINGThe role pays £15 per hour.
