The Company:Nigel Wright are pleased to be working with a fast growth food manufacturing business as they look to recruit a Warehouse & Transport ManagerThe Role:This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual that can demonstrate expertise in their field. The successful candidate will be empowered to make decisions across two key business areas that are key in delivering customer satisfaction. As Dispatch andTransport Manager you will have full accountability for service and delivery to all of the clients customers.Key accountabilities:• Routing vehicles and deliveries across the UK• Plan and coordinate the dispatch of customer orders on time according to the daily schedule• Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in full, liaising with customer services and production where necessary• Overseeing the packing and picking of customer orders• Ensuring overall fleet compliance in-line with VOSA regulations, insurance requirements and maintenance schedules• Responsibility for drivers hours, rotas and holidays and managing any HR processes• Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork to ensure productivity targets are metThe Person:We are looking for driven, motivated candidates who are able to excel in a fast paced, high pressure environment. The successful applicant will display the following skills and attributes:• Experience in transport operations, goods out and stock control of teams exceeding 10 plus direct reports• Essential prior transport planning experience• Previous experience in a similar role within FMCG Food Manufacturing•Proactive, can do attitude• Able to work on a Sun - Thurs shift pattern
