37.5 Hours per week: General Surgery - Colorectal Ward 7 - to cover maternity leave on Ward 7 but the post is permanent within the Centre.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to join the friendly nursing team on ward 7. Initially the post will cover for maternity leave but there is potential for permanent employment at the end of the term for the right person. We specialise in colorectal and endocrine surgical patient pathways, we care for both elective and non-elective patients. We have a focus on the Enhanced Recovery Programme to enable our patients to be discharged as soon as possible.You will work with a variety of health care professionals and you will be a valued member of the team. We are looking for a self-motivated, dedicated person who is passionate about caring for our patients to the highest standards. You will have excellent communication and problem solving skills.We are looking for nurses who are compassionate and who have a positive ‘can do’ attitude. If you feel you have a passion and drive to provide high quality patient centered care then Ward 7 is the place for you to come and work.
