Full time and Part time opportunitiesAn exciting opportunity has arisen for some enthusiastic forward-thinking staff nurses to join our team within Surgical Ambulatory care at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.Various HoursThe Surgical Ambulatory Care Unit is looking for highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic staff nurses to join our new and expanding team. You will need to be passionate about providing high quality, emergency same day care in this fast paced, evolving and exciting area. Patients attending the unit are referred by Emergency Departments, GP practices, and other clinical specialties with suspected Surgical, Urological or gastroenterology conditions. The unit also hosts a range of review clinics and treatments for these patients.Surgical Ambulatory Care is a transformational change in care delivery and is vital in changing the way patient access our services. The underlying principle behind this unit is identifying emergency patients, and patient who can be discharged and managed safely and appropriately without requiring a hospital bed. You will be expected to work as part of a team in delivering care to patients who are referred into the department.
