Haematology Day Unit Staff Nurse - 37.5 Hours per weekAn exciting opportunity has arisen within the Haematology Day Unit and we are looking to recruit a Band 5 Staff Nurse. The successful candidate will be joining an established team with a record of excellence and innovative practices. The department provides outpatient treatment, triage assessment and follow up care for patients with haematology conditions alongside Out-patient clinics. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ideally you will have Haematology experience but training will be provided. You will be expected to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative and will be positively encouraged to recognise and develop service improvement.In return you will be working within a proactive, dynamic team, supporting delivery of a first class Haematology service and will have the opportunity to positively influence care for both cancer and medical patients and their families.If you are a practising Registered Nurse with at least 2 years experience and are competent to cannulate and perform venepuncture we would like to hear from you.There is an expectation that you will rotate within the Out-patient departments (cross site) to support your development and service provision.
