BS Social Care are working alongside a national mental healthcharity which supports adults on a recovery journey and manage the impacts of living with mental ill health. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team 8 of individuals who cover services across the North East that provide support for people in accommodated in secure care settings through their transition to living in the community. The teamprovides ongoing support to the person once they are living in the community, assisting people in developing the skills necessary to live independently, develop positive social networks and the skills to manage their mental and physical health and wellbeing.You will have experience of managing people, multi-agency working and contract management. You will have substantial experience of working in Housing and Social Care an indepth understanding of mental health issues and experience of managing staff teams. Experienceof working in secure care or criminal justice settings would be an advantage and an understanding of the circumstances in which individuals might find themselves in secure care settings is essential.
