Job Description

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a paraplanning capacity
  • Sound knowledge of investment and pension products
  • Knowledge of offshore tax products advantageous
  • Great communication skills with a sense of humour essential
  • Confident; comfortable asking questions and challenging adviser, when necessary
  • Adaptable to changing priorities

Role:Are you a Senior Paraplanner with a confident and outgoing personality, able to challenge experienced Advisers and contribute to the development of other paraplannersOur client, located in Teesside (fantastic offices and free parking), has an immediate requirement for an experienced Paraplanner with sound technical knowledge across pensions and investments. On offer, is an excellent package of up to £40,000 plus great benefits,flexible hybrid working, and an opportunity to progress either to an advisory role or into compliance - if desired. The team are friendly, share and support each other and the business has a family’ feel.Working closely with highly experienced Advisers, you’ll have exposure and deal with multiple corporate businesses and HNW clients - there are no DB or VCT/EIS/UCIS products involved and many clients own commercial property via SIPP and SSAS. Weekly meetingswill allow you to plan your work and meet the requirements of the business, which can change daily. You’ll also be involved in quarterly investment meetings where you’ll assess performance of funds.Systems used include XPlan (great if you’ve used this back-office system previously), FE Analytics, Dynamic Planner, and Voyant for cash flow modelling.Qualifications:Ideally, you’ll be Diploma qualified however, part-qualified individuals who are keen to achieve their Level 4 will benefit from study supportKnow someone who the above job would be a perfect fit forREFER THEM ...and receive £250 when they start in their new role!
