The Role:
  • Home/Field based (North West) Leadership and Customer Relationship Management.
  • Responsible for 22 NHS trusts, 3 direct reports and approximately £100mspend.
  • You will be the figurehead to senior customers across a defined number of stakeholders for NHS Supply Chain and drive the value proposition through the team and out to our customer base.
  • Key focus is improving savings within healthcare procurement.
  • Liaising with Procurement, Category Buyers and Finance departments within the NHS.
  • Market analysis, forging clinical relationships and keeping abreast of medical technology development.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • The areas this region is covering are: Lancashire, Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire
The Ideal Person:
  • Must have extensive experience of NHS Procurement either working within this function or working with customers e.g. Medical Devices/Equipment sales.
  • Must have people management experience, an ability to support, lead and develop people remotely.
  • Must have strong Account Management experience.
  • Track record of delivering results Vs targets.
  • Excellent business acumen with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels (internal & external).
