Job Description

Role: SEMH English TeacherSalary: £28,000 - £37,000 per annum, dependant on experienceContract Type: PermanentStart date: ASAPLocation: MiddlesbroughLeader Education are working in partnership with an independent SEMH school based in the centre of Middlesbrough. We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Teacher to teach English up to KS4 level.The pupils are identified as having Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and are aged between 11 - 19. Must have a QTS and experience of teaching in an SEN/SEMH school or similar setting. (SEMH, SEBD, BESD, EBD)Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher with experience of working with children and young adults with SEMH. They are looking for a passionate and caring Teacher who loves what they do. The pupils in this school have alreadymissed a large part of their education so it is vital that you are committed and passionate to the role and pupils.Essential skills:

  • Have a genuine passion for SEND and /or SEMH.

  • Be diverse with your lessons and be able to reach learners at varying levels and abilities.

  • Ensure learning is accessible and inclusive for all learners.
  • To plan, deliver and mark work.
  • Excellent knowledge and the ability to teach all core subjects.
  • To provide fun and engaging lessons, engaging heard to reach learners.
