Job Description

2 x QC Analysts required, based in Teesside on a permanent basis. Requiring proven industrial experience of analytical chemistry including HPLC or GC. Title: 2 x QC AnalystsLocation: Cheshire WestSalary: £27,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience) Employment Term: Permanent SRG are working with an international company who specialise in the creation of speciality chemicals for a range of markets. They are now looking to add 2 QC Analysts to their analytical team on a full-time basis at their site in Teesside. These permanentroles will be supporting a recent increased workload and sample volumes, and will primarily involve analysing finished product samples using a range of techniques including HPLC and GC. Candidates that have proven industrial experience of these techniquesin a busy, fast-paced laboratory setting are encouraged to apply. GMP is desirable but not essential for this position.Benefits: 28 days holiday plus bank holidays. Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (with flexibility).Role / Description

  • Perform QC analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished product samples in support of production using a range of techniques including HPLC and GC.
  • Provide results and data to maintain QC records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Carry out calibration of equipment and method development of techniques and maintenance of calibration records to the appropriate standard.
  • Communicate internally in a timely manner to appropriate departments.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of reagents and consumables
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemistry (or similar)
  • Proven industrial experience of analysis includingHPLC orGC in a busy, fast-paced laboratory setting
    • GMP experience is desirable but not essential
  • Positive, pro-active attitude
  • Team player work a strong work ethic
