Production SupervisorLocation: MiddlesbroughSalary: £30,700 per annumHours: 4 on 4 off - 12-hour shiftsType: PermanentDuties:

Ensuring all line safety start up sheets are completed and raise any issues with Engineering.
Agree the schedule for production/packing plan by line.
Oversee the production/packing process.
Supervise and motivate the Line Leaders and Operatives.
Liaise with other departments; Planning, Low Risk, High Risk and Sleeve & Box to ensure optimum efficiency of process flow
Ensure the relevant quality policies and procedures are adhered to.
Liaise with QA Auditors to eliminate any quality issues.
Ensure that the packing/production plans are met on time in full.
Constantly monitor and optimise efficiencies.
Continuously monitor waste and implement action plans to reduce total wastage on the shift.
Undertake any other duties that could reasonably be expected within the remit of the post.
Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to in order to ensure a zero-accident culture is developed on shift.
Continuously monitor housekeeping in all areas.
Responsible for GMP in your area and train to maintain a good standard through the GMP process.
Ensure Hygiene (tray wash area) staff are supervised.
Cover the area when the Manager is not available.

Requirements:

The ability to lead and motivate a team and be able to work on your own initiative.
Good organisational and communication skills are essential.
Ability to think logically to solve problems and work collaboratively with the wider team.
